Police, deputies commended for service

I wish to commend the service of the Vance County Sheriff’s Office and the city of Henderson police force.

While traveling to Henderson, my vehicle stalled out in front of Roses department store. In the torrential rain of that day, a Vance County deputy physically pushed my vehicle into the Roses parking lot.

Within 10 minutes, an officer with the Henderson city police approached my window and assured me he would stay with me until help arrived.

It is service such as this that never makes the headlines, but be assured I was very impressed with their care, dedication and service.

Henderson and Vance County should be very appreciative of their law enforcement officers.
