HENDERSON — William Thomas “Boe” Wynn, 68, of 726 E. Winder St., Henderson, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on June 1, 2021. He was born in Henderson to the late Estelle Macon and John Henry Wynn on Sept. 29, 1952.
William was a loving person who enjoyed listening to music, singing, fishing, playing cards and playing horseshoes with his family and friends. He was very athletic and loved sports. The Pittsburgh Steelers was his favorite team.
William was a graduate of Vance Senior High School. He worked at Purolator in Henderson for many years until his retirement. He was married for 44 years to Ada Wynn, and four children were born to this union.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Shirley Crews and Mary Hanks; three brothers, Howard Perry, William Perry and Arthur Perry; one daughter, Katina Antwan Haywood; and two grandsons, Kalir Ragland and Quashid Ragland.
William leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Ada Wynn; four daughters, Alicia Wynn, Kenya Thrower, Quinchetta Wynn and Denise Haywood Allen, all of Henderson; four sons, Chris Falcon, Phineas Thrower (Cassandra), William Wynn Jr. (Tamika) and Shamus Wynn (Shronda), all of Henderson; two brothers, Ronnie Perry and Elvis Perry, both of Henderson; two sisters, Carolyn Kearney and Gloria Perry, both of Henderson; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Danny Roberts; a special niece, Shameco Roberts; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Baskerville Funeral Home Chapel from noon to 6 p.m.
Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021, at Rowland Chapel Christian Church Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
