HENDERSON — Dr. Clarice M. Hug, 82, residing in Henderson, North Carolina, and formerly of Sandusky, Ohio, had a stroke on Sept. 18, 2021, and died Sept. 19, 2021.

Clarice was born on Jan. 31, 1939, in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late Carl and Bernice Hug. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, David and Thomas Hug. She is survived by her two sisters, Sister Mary Charleen Hug and Sister Rosemary Hug, both sisters of Notre Dame and who live in Whitehouse, Ohio.

Clarice graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, Ohio, and was a graduate of Mary Manse. Clarice moved to Henderson, North Carolina, in 1981.

A private family graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery, 2000 Sanford St., Sandusky, Ohio. A memorial mass will be held at a later date.
