OXFORD — Anne Elizabeth Critcher Finch, 90, of Huntsboro Road, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at her home. Born in Granville County on Nov. 3, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Calvin J. Critcher, and Lois Royster Critcher.

Anne retired from Progress Energy. She was a lifelong member of Tabbs Creek Baptist Church, where she played the piano for more than 50 years and was active in WMU.

Funeral services will be held at Tabbs Creek Baptist Church on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Stan Jenkins and the Rev. Wayne Clark. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Luey A. Finch Jr. of the home; two daughters, LuAnne F. Clark and husband, Wayne, and Linda F. Reavis and husband, Michael, all of Oxford; four grandchildren, Emily C. Russell and husband, Douglas, Tyler J. Reavis, Joshua F. Reavis and Seth J. Reavis; one great-grandson, Robby I. Russell; and two brothers, Howard J. Critcher of Raleigh and Dan R. Critcher and wife, Nell, of Rolesville.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lindsey E. Reavis.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Tabbs Creek Baptist Church.

Attendees at the visitation and service are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing. Anyone who wishes to view Mrs. Finch may do so on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at J.M. White Funeral Home.
