A construction crew brought in a helicopter Tuesday to lift new HVAC units to the Vance County Jail and remove the old ones. The chopper belongs to a Tennessee company called Treeline Helicopters and shuttled repeatedly between the jail and the parking lot outside the Henderson Police Department to pick up and drop its loads. Crewmen said they preferred using the helicopter for the job because it would’ve taken about half a day to place and prepare a crane at the jail work site.

Belonging to a Tennessee firm called Treeline Helicopters, the aircraft shuttled repeatedly between the jail and the parking lot outside the Henderson Police Department as it delivered the new HVAC units to the jail and took away the old ones.
