HENDERSON — After a year and a half of waiting, Perry Memorial Library was notified this week that it had been awarded a grant to the tune of $100,000 towards obtaining a bookmobile.

“We have a dream to provide every citizen in the county with access to the library through a bookmobile,” Director Patti McAnally said in a new release. “While we can help thousands of visitors at the library each year, there are still many who do not have access to reliable transportation that would allow them to visit our facility.”
