BASKETBALL, Lace up the sneakers and join Oxford Parks and Recreation for a day of fun playing basketball during our three-on-three basketball tournament on April 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hicks Outdoor Basketball Court. Entry cost is free, but teams must pre-register. Up to four players can be on a team, but only three can play at a time. Each team must have a team captain, who will receive a copy of the rules. MedAssist is holding a Mobile Free Pharmacy Event in partnership with Triangle North Healthcare Foundation in Vance County on Friday, April 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 2292 Ross Mill Road, Henderson. It is open to any person or family needing over-the-counter medications. Participants must be at least 18 years old to receive medicine. No identification is required, but face masks are required to participate.
