Brianna Hawkins; Sariyah Gant and Jada Henderson were among the students who participated in an Aug. 22 organized by Spoken Existence, a group founded by Henderson residents William and Tonya Henderson.

HENDERSON — Spoken Existence, founded by Minister William and Tonya Henderson of 111 Norwood St. in Henderson, recently conducted its first “Backpack Giveaway” on Aug. 22.

Local students were also honored for perfect attendance during the Youth Agricultural Development Program. Students honored spoke about the purpose of the non-profit organization and their personal achievements and skills learned. The event was a great success.

Spoken Existence is further pleased to announce that it has additional Barron’s SAT College Prep workbooks, which can serve as a vital resource to help students improve their college prep test scores. Students will also receive a free drawstring backpack as well at no cost while supplies last.
