Henderson resident honored by garage owners association

RALEIGH — Henderson resident Stan Creech, owner of Creech Import Repair in Raleigh, was recognized as the Independent Garage Owners of North Carolina Member of the Year recently.

RALEIGH — Henderson resident Stan Creech, owner of Creech Import Repair in Raleigh, was recognized as the Independent Garage Owners of North Carolina Member of the Year recently.

The IGONC presented Creech with the award during its annual awards banquet at the Embassy Suites Convention Center in Cary. The focus of the annual event is to recognize industry leaders who have demonstrated above average contributions to the automotive service industry and the Independent Garage Owners of North Carolina.

The IGONC Member of the Year is the highest achievement awarded by organization, dedicated to the memory of AC Britain who was the first executive director of IGONC. Creech was credited for a strong commitment over the past year, which included serving as the President of the IGONC Wake Unit, serving on the IGONC board of directors and recently being elected to the IGONC executive committee.
