HENDERSON — Officers from the Henderson Police Department stopped a car at around 4:50 a.m. on Saturday for a traffic violation that ended in a drug bust.
One of the agency’s K-9s alerted officers to drugs in the vehicle. Officers found 1,000 bricks of heroin and around 11 pounds of cocaine inside the car.
Officers charged the driver, Jonathan Gordan, 41, of Albany, New York, with three counts each of trafficking in cocaine and trafficking in heroin and one count each of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver cocaine, possession with intent to do the same with heroin, one count of maintaining a vehicle to keep controlled substances and one count of manufacturing cocaine.
Gordan is currently in Vance County Detention Center under a $500,000 bond.
