HENDERSON — Calling all circus fanatics — Dusty’s All Star Circus is coming to Henderson on March 15.
The DASC bills itself as “an action-packed show with the greatest gathering of circus stars performing fantastic feats that are spine-tingling, giggle-making, and just plain fun,” with no special effects or stunt doubles.
Indeed, you may find yourself “on the edge of your seat with an intimate, interactive experience with every seat close to the action,” per a DASC press release.
The release included a list of acts:
The handsome and entertaining Renaldo, a second generation circus performer as the host;
The striking and balletic aerial choreography of the graceful Daniela Prieto, a ninth generation circus artist;
The extraordinary and mesmerizing juggling of Sebastian Videla, a fan favorite with Dusty’s audiences;
The magnificent hand balancing of Romanian born Ian Faraonel, a graduate of the Sailor Circus Academy;
The exciting and mind-boggling balancing of Sebastian Videla, a fifth generation circus performer from Argentina;
The delightful, dazzling, and beautiful Robin on the dance trapeze;
And, the whimsical, the joyous Mr. Robb will keep you laughing.
“We are thrilled to bring a fun, exciting show for the entire family to [Henderson],” said Dusty Sadler, founder of DASC, in the release. “You’ll be swept away on an emotion-stirring, magical journey right here in North Carolina.”
Sadler founded DASC after traveling the world and performing as a trick rider, animal trainer and clown.
The circus will begin at 4:30 p.m. and end at 7 at Aycock Recreation Center, 307 Carey Chapel Road. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children. Children under 24 months get in for free. There is also a family pack, only available online, with two adult tickets and up to four tickets for kids for $49.99. Up to 100 adult tickets are available in advance for $9.99 each.
