Second-grader Zyion (left) and kindergartner Calise work on making flowers during an art project exercise at the Creating Success Education Center in Henderson on Wednesday. The center serves as a remote learning site for 25 K-12 students. The center, which falls under the umbrella of nonprofit Turning Point CDC, offers a variety of services in addition to serving as a remote learning site. This summer, it will offer summer learning programs for children in grades K-6 and will be kicking off a mobile learning lab later this spring, according to Executive Director Chalis Henderson.
