Dollie Burwell, director of Constituent Services from the office of Congressman G. K. Butterfield, will speak concerning the changes that occurred during the Civil Rights movement.

Pastor Gordon Marshall of Cotton Memorial Presbyterian Church will act as emcee. Entertainment will be provided by Cothea Hicks, Tiffany Barnes, the Henderson Middle School Show Choir and the Southern Vance High School Gamma Psi Theta Step Team.

A representative from Costco will be on hand to provide refreshments and to talk about memberships.

The Vance County Senior Center, located at 126 S. Garnett St., Henderson, serves the 55 and older community with activities, support groups and educational services. For more information, call (252) 430-0257. The pubic is invited to attend.
