Henderson police have not made an arrest in a Christmas Eve morning armed robbery at the Waffle House on West Andrews Avenue and are seeking four suspects.

Search warrant documents obtained from Superior Court indicate police observed four suspects jumping from a 2002 white Ford Escort on Mill Street in Henderson.

Police gave chase, but the four escaped on foot.

Numerous guns and the car were seized and impounded, respectively. The owner of the car was named and his David Street residence has been searched, but the individual was not named as a suspect.

In addition to taking an undetermined amount of money from the restaurant, the suspects are also accused of robbing a customer in the parking lot. The customer’s wallet was later recovered.

Henderson police are seeking help in the case from the public. Anyone with further suspect identity information is asked to call the police department at (252) 438-4141 or Crime Stoppers at (252) 492-1925. Information given to Crime Stoppers can be done anonymously and lead to a reward of up to $2,000.
