Henderson police make arrest connected to domestic dispute
Police arrested a Henderson man Tuesday on charges of breaking and entering and strangulation in a warrant from September.
The Henderson Police Department reported arresting Gregory L. Baskett, 42, at 715 Hillside Ave., finding him there at 2:28 a.m., according to an arrest report.
Lt. Christopher Ball said the arrest stems from a Sept. 23 incident in the 300 block of Charles Street.
In a written statement, Ball said the incident was related to a domestic dispute.
“Baskett allegedly kicked open a door and entered the residence,” Ball stated. “Upon entering, he choked the victim.”
An incident report filed in September stated $60 cash was taken from the 46-year-old black female, and property destruction to the door caused $200 damage to the door and $200 damage to a pair of eyeglasses.
