Wake up call

Facing the Roxboro Community Reds for the second day in a row, the Oxford Wildcats’ junior team was defeated 11-2 on Tuesday evening in a game played at J.F. Webb High School as part of the Junior Central Carolina Scholastic Summer League.

Major Achievement

On June 20, 2015, Kerr-Vance Academy's Emma Hogge (left) competed in the Drive, Chip & Putt championship local qualifier at the Governors Club in Chapel Hill. Competing in the 14-15 year old age group, Hogge qualified to advance to the sub-regionals in Greensboro next month. The other 14-15 year old qualifiers were Katharina Floyd (center) of Chapel Hill and Greer Valaquenta (right) of Morrisville.
