Northern Vance earned its second win of the tennis season Wednesday against Person with an 8-1 win.

The Vikings host Kerr-Vance Friday.

Spartan JV baseball bests Grace of Raleigh

The Kerr-Vance junior varsity baseball team picked up a 15-2 win over Grace Christian of Raleigh.

Damon Stevenson was the winning pitcher, tossing four innings with nine strikeouts.

Jared Hicks was 2-for-3 at the plate for the Spartans, Dylan Musselman had a double and Wil Short drew three walks and scored four runs.
