Prep Roundup: Spartans net 10th tennis win

The Kerr-Vance varsity tennis team defeated Rocky Mount Academy Monday in a match resumed from a Sept. 3 rainout.

KVA improved to 10-3 overall and 3-3 in the Eastern Plains Independent Conference.

The Spartans visit Cary Christian today.

KVA defeated by Trinity of Durham

Kerr-Vance’s junior varsity soccer team lost 3-2 to Trinity Academy of Durham Monday.

Rafael Negron scored both KVA goals and Jared Hicks and Jack Cheever each registered assists.
