Hicks nominated for McDonald’s All-American game
J.F. Webb senior Isaiah Hicks has been nominated to play in the 2013 McDonald’s All-American boys basketball game slated for April 3 in Chicago.
Hicks, a UNC recruit, was one of 814 nominees from 39 states and the District of Columbia, selected by high school coaches, athletic directors, principals, and members of the McDonald’s All-American games selection committee.
The final cut will be announced Feb. 14 on ESPNU at 5 p.m.
A threat for a triple double every time he takes the floor, Hicks is averaging around 24 points per game this season.
