Feb. 14, 2014 @ 07:30 PM

Warren County’s Senior Night basketball games against Roanoke Rapids will be made up today after the teams were unable to meet Friday due to inclement weather.

The junior varsity girls game will tip off at 2 p.m. with the JV boys, varsity girls and varsity boys to follow.

Southern Vance had also been scheduled to play today against Bunn, but those games have been moved to Thursday.

The J.F. Webb at Northern Vance basketball games that were postponed on Friday have not yet been rescheduled.

Webb and Northern compete in the 3-A Big Eight Conference, which has its league tournaments scheduled to start on Monday. Conference coaches and athletic directors will meet today at noon to determine whether those tourneys will still be played next week.

Wrestling regional moved to Sunday

The N.C. High School Athletic Association Class 3-A Mideast wrestling regional at Eden Morehead will be held on Sunday in its entirety. Eight wrestlers from Northern and six from Webb have qualified.

Originally scheduled for Friday and today, the 3-A tournament’s first round will now be in single-elimination format instead of double. Weigh-ins start at 12:30 p.m.

The 2-A Mideast Regional at Trinity Wheatmore is still scheduled for today. Southern has seven wrestlers in the event.
