KVA's Holder wins girls meet, records personal-best
Kerr-Vance’s Kayla Holder recorded a personal-best time of 18:55 and won the Eastern Plains Independent Conference girls cross country race in Cary Thursday.
KVA’s Addison Mabry was 10th with a time of 23:53 and seventh-grader Aubrey Thompson ran the 1.7-mile middle school race in 14:18.
For the Spartan boys, A.J. Holloway was 50th with a mark of 27:21 and Jacob Goswick was 51st in a time of 27:49.
KVA runs again next week at Parrott Academy.
