Lady Raiders lose second straight

Southern Vance dropped its second consecutive game Thursday in Raleigh.

The Raiders followed Tuesday’s loss to conference leader Chapel Hill with a 57-48 defeat at Cardinal Gibbons.

Southern fell to 16-4 overall and 4-3 in the 3-A Carolina Conference.

Breona Jones led the Raiders with 14 points, Carslin Talley had seven and Rashyda Burwell added six.

The Raiders visit Orange Friday.
