Local Roundup: KVA varsity girls drop game to Parrott

The Kerr-Vance varsity girls were defeated by Parrott Academy 25-17 Wednesday.
The Spartans fell to 10-12 overall on the season and host Cary Christian for Senior Night today.

Spartan middle school boys split

The Kerr-Vance middle school boys Blue team closed out its season with a 42-36 win over Rocky Mount Academy Wednesday.

John Ross Holland led the Spartans with 17 points and Drew Griggs and Wil Short each had eight.

The KVA White team finished with a 24-20 loss to Rocky Mount Academy.
Dylan Musselman and Nick Ellington both had nine points and Beau Nutter added four.

KVA middle school girls finish on high note

The Kerr-Vance middle school girls ended their season on a five-game winning streak after Wednesday’s 29-25 win over Rocky Mount Academy.

The Spartans finished the season with an overall mark of 10-5.

Kennedy Adcock led the team with 14 points Wednesday and Holly Steg added seven.
