J.F. Webb was outscored 42-21 in the second half of its 69-41 loss Tuesday to Granville Central.

The Warriors couldn’t withstand 31 points from the Panthers’ dynamic senior point guard Keena Evans, who took advantage of some errant Webb passes in the second half.

Evans scored seven consecutive points in the third quarter, including a pair of lay-ins off steals, as Granville Central stretched its lead to 46-29 after leading 27-20 at halftime.

Alexis Bailey was the only other Panther in double-figure scoring with 10 points.

Starr Jones was the leading scorer for Webb with 16 points and Alyssa Wilkins was also in double-figure scoring with 11 points.

Granville Central led 17-12 at the end of one quarter.
