Dream soccer match for 8-year-old
Atticus Lane-Dupre got the thrill of a lifetime Wednesday in Portland, Ore.
After the 8-year-old missed his team's final soccer game last season because of cancer treatment, the Portland Timbers and Make-A-Wish Oregon treated Atticus' team to a game at the Timbers' home field.
More than 3,000 fans showed up in support of Atticus, creating an incredible atmosphere for a noble cause.
Only in soccer it seems - but to be expected in the Pacific Northwest, where the beautiful game is thriving. Note the percent full numbers for Portland, Seattle and Vancouver.
