Indiana hopes bold football uniforms help recruiting

Indiana has taken the prize so far this offseason for most out-there college football uniform changes.

The Hoosiers have exactly one winning season (2007) this century, so this certainly can't hurt. IU head coach Kevin Wilson told reporters Thursday he's already felt a positive impact on recruiting.

Indiana sported the new look, which includes six helmet designs, at a recent reveal. These unveilings are becoming all the rage in college football. North Carolina had a similar one in April.

Flashy, loud, colorful, chrome, black - This is the wave of the future in college football. Fan reaction is mixed, but the players seem to love it.
