If you’re looking to catch a ride on N.C. State’s Wolfline, Tremanisha Taylor might be going along. An image of the redshirt junior track star is now plastered on one of the campus buses.

The 2010 Southern Vance graduate has earned the recognition, having competed in two consecutive NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships for the Wolfpack.

On Saturday, Taylor finished fifth in the women’s shot put at the indoor Doc Hale Virginia Tech Elite meet. Amber Monroe of Miami claimed the top throw.

Taylor set the N.C. State indoor record in the women’s shot put at the Hokie Invitational in late January with a throw of 54 feet, 4 inches. She also holds the N.C. State outdoor record in the shot put at 55 feet, 0.25 inches.

N.C. State has two more weekends of regular season competition before the ACC indoor championships start on Feb. 27 at Clemson. The national championships begin Feb. 14 in Albuquerque, N.M.
