Walmart Distribution Center of Henderson was awarded the Patriotic Employer Award by the North Carolina Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). Receiving the award is Plant Manager Maurice Gray (left). Gray was recognized by his employee, Sgt. Lindsey Rice (right) with the N.C. National Guard, who was deployed to Iraq with the 30th HBCT North Carolina National Guard Unit. Presenting the award is Dr. John B. Hardy (center) of Oxford, a North Carolina committee member with ESGR. ESGR is a Department of Defense organization that recognizes the commitment of employers who have members of the guard and reserve in their organizations.
