Letter: Deciding between two options

To the Editor:

Elijah said to all the people, “You and me. how long shall we have two opinions?”

Everyday we worship other gods or the God. (To learn more, read in the Bible, 1 Kings 18:21.) Have you known God, or rather, are you known by God? Other gods are worshiped by the observance of days, months, times and years that are of the flesh and are not spiritual (Galatians 4:8-11).

Like the opinion of the Jews we have no king but Caeser. Most people today are blinded in the heart and mind as to who God is (2 Corinthians 3:13-15). Peter had the right opinion but the flesh and blood couldn’t reveal to Peter who Jesus was, only Jesus’ Father could and did (Matthew 16:15-17). This is only revealed by the Holy Spirit, all that the father God gives to Jesus shall come to Jesus (John 6:37). The spirit of God dwelleth in all sheep (Romans 8:9).

If it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve: The gods of this world that are created by you, or the eternal God (Joshua 24:14-16).
