Letter: Friends will be missed
To the editor:
Friendly Florist on Nicholas Street decided to close its doors several weeks ago. For decades they met the needs of Henderson and surrounding areas for floral design and professionalism in the floral business.
We had the opportunity to speak with Robin before she decided to close and she basically though it was a good time so that she could spend more time with her family. As an up and coming business in this area, Robin and her staff (Crystal, Dee, Connie and Steve) greeted us with their knowledge and professionalism but most of all their friendship.
A lot of times we would borrow supplies from each other to fill orders, which was a great help to us and we gladly would help them as well. That type of professionalism is hard to find this day and time, especially if you are supposed to be competitors.
Steve has decided to join our staff and has been a great addition with his vast knowledge and work ethic. We would like to wish all of them great success on their future endeavors, whatever they may be. They will be greatly missed.
Angela and Connie Wade
