Thomas L. Winn
LOUISBURG — Thomas Lee Winn, 70, a resident of 251 Weldon Road, Louisburg, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at Duke University Medical Center.
Born on April 5, 1943, in Vance County, he was the son of the late Blount Winn and Lillian King Winn.
He was retired from Dorothy Dix Hospital, where he was employed as a medical technician, and was a former member of Liberty Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Liberty Christian Church by Rev. Johnny Yount. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Keeton Winn of the home; one daughter, Rose Satterwhite of Kittrell; three sons, Thomas Lee Winn Jr. of Henderson, Michael L. Winn of Louisburg and Chris Winn of Henderson; one brother, Edward Winn of Creedmoor; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
The family will receive friends Monday, Jan. 13, from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at J.M. White Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home, 251 Weldon Road, Louisburg.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Tony Joyner, Eddie Newton, William Coker, Raymond Vaughan, Mark Bridges and Joe Myers.

Virginia K. Anderson
WARRENTON — Virginia King Anderson, 95, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at Hospice of Wake County.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13, in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

HENDERSON — Elnora Bullock, 103, of 105 Allen Circle, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, at First Baptist Church Soul City, by Pastor Elton Buffalo.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Viewing is from noon to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, in the chapel and at the church one hour prior to the service.
The family will receive friends at the residence, 105 Allen Circle.
