Anna M. Albright

HENDERSON — Anna Mae Albright, 86, of Henderson, formerly of Ambler and Hatboro, Pa., died on Wednesday, April 2, 2014.

She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth L. Albright.

She was born in Philadelphia on June 23, 1927, to the late Edward and Mary (Wolfe) Nick.

She was a loving homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children Dawna M. Gardner (William) of Henderson, Sally Ann Stouffer (Tim) of Rock Hill, S.C., Dorothy J. Moore (Jeffrey) North Haven, Conn., eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son Kenneth L. Albright Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, at the Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes, 951 E. Butler Pike, Ambler, Pa.

Viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Interment in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, Pa.

Jasper R. Evans, Sr.

HENDERSON — Jasper Ray Evans, Sr., 64, a resident of 935 S. Carolina Avenue, Henderson, died Friday, April 4, 2014, at his home.

Born in Vance County on April 7, 1949, he was the son of Mildred Pace Evans of Henderson and the late Wyatt Graham Evans, and was the widower of Bonnie Parham Evans.

Jasper was medically retired from Heartland Homes and was a member of Harriett Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held at 1p.m. Tuesday, April 8 at Sunset Gardens by the Rev. Will Breedlove.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Jasper Ray Evans, Jr. one daughter, Emily E. Barneycastle; one grandson, Peyton Evans; and one sister, Brenda Patterson. In addition to his father and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother Larry Evans.

The family will receive friends at the home at 935 S. Carolina Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that contributions be made to the Jasper Evans, Sr. Funeral Fund, c/o J. M. White Funeral Home, 60 Zeb Robinson Road, Henderson, NC 27536.
