Quinland “Quint” Lawson
ROXBORO — Quinland “Quint” Lawson, age 51, a resident of 626 S. Foushee St., Roxboro, departed this life Friday morning, Aug. 1, 2014, in the Canterberry House in Roxboro.
He is survived by three sisters, Nellie L. Smith, Beatrice L. Graves and Annetta Lawson, and three brothers, Raber Lawson, Anthony Lawson and Theodore Lawson.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at 1 p.m. in Lawson Chapel Baptist Church, 200 Lawson Chapel Church Road, with the Rev. Dr. Langston D. Logan Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 1 to 6 p.m. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home.
The body will lie in state in the church for one hour prior to the service.
Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Directors are in charge of the service for Mr. Quinland “Quint” Lawson.

HENDERSON — Joseph Silver Waverly, 80, of 1464 Newton Dairy Farm Road, died Friday, Aug. 1, at Maria Parham Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Viewing will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5 in the chapel of Davis-Royster Funeral Service and at the church one hour prior to the service.
