Thomas G. Grissom Sr.

HENDERSON — Thomas Gray Grissom Sr., 71, of Henderson, passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2013.

He was a long time member of Fuller Chapel in Henderson and a former employee of Laurens Glass.

He was predeceased by his wife, Pansy Munn Grissom; his parents, Jack and Thelma Grissom; and his brothers, Jack and Eunice Grissom.

Mr. Grissom is survived by his six children, Jeff Grissom, Andy Grissom, Charles Lowman Jr. (Cathy), Stephen Lowman Sr. (Amy), Jennifer Grissom (Jason) and Thomas Grissom Jr. (Karen); 16 grandchildren; and two sisters, Doris Parrish and Betty Rose Grissom.

HENDERSON — Jerl McDonald Branch Jr., 37, of 609 Orange S., Henderson, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at his residence.

Nehemiah Ingram

MANSON — Nehemiah Ingram, infant son of Lee James and Sonya James Ingram of 3699 Jacksontown Road, Manson, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson.

He was born Dec. 31. 2012, at Duke Medical Center in Durham.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at noon, in the chapel of Davis-Royster Funeral Service, with Apostle R. L. Jackson officiating.

In addition to his parents, survivors include: one sister, Alexandra; seven brothers. Lee, Anthony, Joseph, Arden, Joshua, Daniel and Ruben Elijah; and his grandmother.

A viewing will take place today, from noon-6 p.m., at the funeral home.

Fannie B. Sneed

HENDERSON — Fannie Bullock Sneed, 103, of Senior Citizens Home in Henderson, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Williams Funeral Home, 104 S. Chestnut St., Henderson.

Minnie W. Waddell

HENDERSON — Minnie Florence White Waddell, 83, of 606 East Ave., Henderson, died Friday, Feb. 8. 2013, at Senior Citizens Home of Henderson.

Born May 8, 1929, in Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Willie Mac Hill Whitt.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday. Feb. 13. 2013, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Davis Royster Funeral Service by the Rev. Gordon Marshall.

Survivors include: three daughters, Paulette Hayes of Chester, S.C., and Claudia Thorpe and Patricia Wynn, both of Henderson; a son, Robert F. Waddell of Raleigh; 24 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Family is receiving friends at the residence of Claudia Thorpe, 606 East Ave., Henderson.
