Donald E. Webb
LOUISBURG — Donald Earl “Dick” Webb, 82, of Louisburg, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Nash General Hospital.
He was born on Jan. 25, 1932, to the late Lonnie Herman and Sally Pearl Collins Webb.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Henry, Randolph, Willard and James “Tiny” Webb; his sisters, Mozelle and Mabelle; and one grandson, Alexander Hunt Dement.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 19, at 2 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 6910 Raleigh Road, Kittrell, NC 27544, with the Rev. Henry Abbott officiating.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Jimmy Wright, Lisa and Roger Britt, and Donna Webb Dement; his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Melonie Webb, all of Henderson; their mother, Mavis Carpenter Webb; his brother, J.L. Webb; his sister, Annie Pearl Ayscue; 10 grandchildren, Anthony Webb, Romaine “Misty” Adcock, Nicholas Hardee, Caleb, Jordan, Ryan and Mileena Webb, Matthew Britt and Bethany and Noah Dement; and five great-grandchildren.

Lorene F. Greenway
HENDERSON — Lorene Fleming Greenway, 90, of 256 Stewart Farm Road, Henderson, died Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Maria Parham Medical Center.
Born in Warren County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Pritchard and Onnie Pernell Fleming. She was the widow of Irvin Brocious Greenway.
Mrs. Greenway was a homemaker and a former owner and operator of Middleburg Steak House. She was a member of Carey Baptist Church.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Carey Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Ralph McGowan.
Surviving are a daughter, Brooks Greenway Spencer and husband Kade of Culpeper, Va.; a son, Thomas Fleming Greenway and wife Susan of Henderson; five grandchildren, Kristy Greenway, Jody Greenway Pernell and husband Spencer, Aaron Greenway Spencer and wife Heather Bridgers, Daniel Lee Spencer and James Irvin Spencer; two step-grandchildren, Megan Parrish and Taylor Clayton; seven great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
The family will receive friends today, April 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the home, 256 Stewart Farm Road, Henderson.
