Grover H. Lynch

MACON — Grover Herbert Lynch, 96, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Warren Hills Nursing Center.

He was a Warren County native born to the late Massenburg and Alma L. Taylor Lynch.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Lee Spain Lynch, and his son, Grover Herbert Lynch Jr.

Mr. Lynch was a retired master sergeant, having served in the U.S. Army for 27 years. He was later employed by the University of South Carolina.

Grover attended Macon Baptist Church.

Rev. Rob Evans will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at Macon Baptist Church with burial to follow in Gardner’s Baptist Church Cemetery.

Grover is survived by his two daughters, Gloria Lynch Majors and husband John of Menlo, Ga., and Judy Lynch Combs and husband Jed of Bonneau, S.C.; six grandchildren, Steve Lynch Sr. and wife Missy of Lake Butler, Fla., Laura Lynch Folsom and husband Tim of Lake City, Fla., Kim Lynch Moore and husband Todd of Ottumwa, Iowa, Tasha Kaminer Mitchell and husband Heath of Lyerly, Ga., Todd Kaminer and wife Normi of Columbia, S.C., and Justin Hrusouky and wife Jessica of San Antonio, Texas; and his great-grandchildren, Steve Lynch Jr., Josh Lynch and wife Susan, Matthew Lynch, Tyler Austin Folsom, Gracielynn Folsom, Taylor Jordan Moore, Parker Eugene Mitchell, William, Drayton, Bobby, Kody and Nina Kaminer and Ryder Hrusousky.

Pallbearers will be Steve Lynch, Matthew Lynch, Justin Hrusousky, Jed Combs, Todd Kaminer, Richard Lynch, Ricky Bryant, Earl Stegall, Gary Daniel and Terry Breen.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Macon Baptist Church, PO Box 12, Macon, NC 27551.

WARRENTON — Elizabeth M. Neal, 70, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at her residence.

Arrangements will be announced by Boyd’s Funeral Services.



Irma R. White

HENDERSON — Irma Rainey White, 93, of 1010 Dabney Drive, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at UNC Hospitals.

A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at Flowers Funeral Chapel by Rev. Edgar Vegera. A private burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
