GREENSBORO — Edna Freeman Murray, 85, a former resident of Waddill Street in Henderson, died Monday, March 4, 2013, at Heritage Greens in Greensboro.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 8, 2013, at 2 p.m., in the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Oxford.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30-2 p.m., at the funeral home.

Other arrangements will be announced by J.M. White Funeral Home.

Patricia A. Royster

VANCE COUNTY — Patricia Ann Royster 58, a Vance County native, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

She was born April 24, 1954, to the late Pattie Sue Royster and Sam Jones.

At an early age she joined Baptist Grove Baptist Church in Bullock. She attended Vance Senior High School and Vance-Granville Technical Institute in 1974.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 7, 2013, at 2:30 p.m., in the chapel of Davis-Royster Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Blacknall Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters: Latoya Taylor and Lashanda Royster, both of Henderson; and five grandchildren.

Viewing will take place today, from noon to 6 p.m., at the funeral home.

The family is receiving friends at 1126 Maple St., Henderson.

John Z. Williamson

BULLOCK — John Zacheary Williamson, 74, a resident of Bullock, died Monday, March 4, 2013, at Duke Medical Center in Durham.

A native of Mecklenburg County, Va., he was the son of the late Beverly Thomas and Jennie Newton Williamson, a member of Tungsten Baptist Church, and had been retired from Granville County Schools as a mechanic.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 7, 2013, 2 p.m., in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by the Rev. Sam Brewer and the Rev. John Yount. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park.

Surviving are: his wife of 34 years, Bonnie S. Williamson of the home; two daughters, Neta W. Morales and Margaret Williamson, both of Henderson; three sons, John Z. “Bro” Williamson of Henderson, and Robert T. Williamson and Zackery J. Williamson, both of Bullock; three sisters, Lodema Turner, Virginia Dickerson and Ludie Hudson; two brothers, James Williamson and William Williamson; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Maudie Adcock and Mary Ramsey; and two brothers, Jessie T. Williamson and Robert Williamson.

Visitation will be held today, from 7-8:30 p.m, in the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and other times at the home.
