HENDERSON — Waverly Cheek of Henderson died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson.

The family will receive friends at 644 Rowland St., Henderson.

HENDERSON — Daisy Odessa Cooper, 66, of 202 Lulu Landing, Henderson, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Henderson.

HENDERSON — Lenita Christine Siplen Fortson, 38, of 511 Spring Court, Henderson, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Wake Med Hospital.

The family is receiving friends at the residence of Lelia Debnam Siplen, 207 Welcome Ave., Henderson.

HOBGOOD — Emma Fields Rice, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, in Hobgood.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at 1 p.m., at James Mount Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Fields Family Cemetery.

Survivors include two sisters, Doretha Fields James and Naomi Fields Wilkins; and two brothers, John M. Fields and the Rev. Hugene Fields.

The family will receive friends Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Fields Funeral Home, 201 Beech St., Hobgood.
