William H. Bullock

HENDERSON — William Henry “Dick” Bullock, 75, of 555 Evans Road, Henderson, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Kerr Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Henderson.

He was born in Warren County on Aug. 4, 1937, to the late William Henry and Hannah Moss Bullock.

He was educated in the Warren County Public School System.

At an early age he joined Oak Level United Church of Christ in Drewry.

He was employed with Cane Construction and retired after more than 20 years of service.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at noon, at Oak Level United Church of Christ with Pastor Leon White officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Cora Lee Bullock; daughter, Wanda Davis; three sisters, Dorothy Durham, Hannah Macon and Helen Williams, all of Henderson; and two brothers: Junious Bullock and Melvin Bullock.

Viewing will be today, from noon-6 p.m., at the funeral home and at the church one hour prior to the service.

The family is receiving friends at the residence.

Cynthia M. Camacho

HENDERSON — Cynthia Michelle Camacho, 39, of 132 Cotton Lane, Warrenton, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson.

Born in Mexico City, Mexico, she was the daughter of Elizabeth Camacho. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Warrenton.

No service is currently planned.

Surviving are her husband, Mario De Santiago; two daughters, Justine De Santiago and Nicole De Santiago, both of Warrenton; two sons, David De Santiago and Diego De Santiago, both of Warrenton; a sister, Claudia Camacho of Mexico City, Mexico; a brother, Osmar Nieves of Henderson; and one grandson.

The family will receive friends at the home, 132 Cotton Lane, Warrenton.

Jacqueline S. Cozart

VANCE COUNTY — Jacqueline Seward Cozart, 51, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at her residence in Killeen, Texas.
She was born in Vance County, Feb. 21, 1961, to the late Joseph Carl and Lillie Mae Seward.

She was a 1979 graduate of Norlina High School and continued her education at North Carolina Central University.
She joined Manson Baptist Church and remained a member until her death.

She was employed for 25 years with the Federal Civil Service in Fort Hood, Texas, as a supervisory human resources specialist.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at 1 p.m., at Manson Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Saint Delight Holy Church.

Survivors include her husband, Victor J. Cozart; two children, Jacquete and Victor J. II, both of Killeen, Texas; sister, Brenda Holmes of Capital Heights, Md.; four brothers: Joseph Seward of Stafford, Va., Curtis Seward of Manson, Ernest Seward of Marietta, Ga., and Eric Cozart of Henderson.

Viewing will be held today, from noon-6 p.m., at the funeral home and at the church one hour prior to the service.

Dorothy Hunter

WARREN COUNTY — Dorothy Hunter, 87, of Norfolk, Va. (formerly of Warren County), died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Va.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at 1 p.m., at Greenwood Baptist Church in Warrenton. The Rev. Tyrone L. Johnson, will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include: her daughter, Gladys A. Henson; her son, David W. Hunter; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brothers, James Riddick; and four sisters, Dorothy Jean Austin, Brenda Riddick, Elzinia Griffin and Cheryl Wellington.

The body will be on view Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., at Boyd’s Funeral Service Chapel in Warrenton.

Christopher C. Karbas

WARRENTON — Christopher Clay Karbas, 46, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at his residence.

Ronnie A. Talley

DURHAM — Ronnie Allen Talley, 50, of 316 Chavasse Ave., died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Duke Medical Center in Durham.

He was born in Vance County to Harrison and Mary Peace Talley on Jan. 12, 1962.

He was educated in Vance County Public Schools.

He was a member of Mt. Moriah A.M.E. Zion Church, but attended St. Andrews Christian Church.

He was employed with the former Harriett and Henderson Yarns for 19 years, and was presently employed with Variety Wholesale until his health declined.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at 3 p.m., at St. Andrews Christian Church with Pastor C. Jerome Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Tracy Talley; his parents, Harrison and Mary Talley; four children, Laquetta Talley, Tonika Talley, Rondale Talley and Quincy Talley, all of Henderson; six grandchildren; two brothers, William Talley and Keith Talley, both of Henderson; four sisters: Rosa Cannady of Middleburg, Ella Evans, Priscilla Talley and Donna Fauntleroy all of Henderson.
