Kay W. Ferguson

LOUISBURG — Kay Wiley Ferguson, 58, of Louisburg, died Monday, Aug. 26,

2013, at her home.

Born Sept. 19, 1954, to the late Morris and Francis Guthrie Wiley. Her brother, Jim Wiley, also preceded her in death.

She graduated from Watts School of Nursing and was a registered nurse at Murdoch Center. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She also loved to shag and was a member of the Wake Forest Shag Club. She also enjoyed the lake. She was a loving dedicated mother and grandmother, and she was a cheerleader for her family.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at Wake Forest United Methodist Church with Rev. Kellie Gallagher-Smith and Rev. Darren Smart officiating.

Kay is survived by her loving husband, Brad Ferguson; her son, Joe Ferguson and his wife, Heather, of Louisburg; her daughter, Beth Champion and her husband, Chad, of Youngsville; and her grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor and

Madelyn Ferguson, and Will and Carson Champion.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Family Ministry Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the National Cancer Institute, Building 31 Room 11-A-16, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD, 20892 in memory of Kay.

Alex Bullock

MANSON — Alex Bullock, 87, died Aug. 24, 2013 at his home.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, in Oak Level United Church of Christ in Manson. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Viewing will be held Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. in the R.H. Greene Funeral Home Chapel and at the church one hour prior to the service.

Nicholas D. Cox

OXFORD — Nicholas Daniel Cox, 25, of Oxford, died Aug. 24, 2013, in Duke Medical Center.

A funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, at 2 p.m. in Rehoboth AME Church, 2975 Old Watkins Road, Henderson.

Visitation will be held at the mother’s home, 696 Northern Falls Road, Creedmoor, following the service.
