Myrna S. Ayscue
FRANKLINTON — Myrna Schuster Ayscue, 57, of 30 Millstone Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at her home.
Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late John William Schuster Sr. and Virginia Collins Schuster.
Mrs. Ayscue was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Flowers Funeral Chapel, conducted by the Rev. David Barnett. Burial will follow in Sunset Gardens.
Surviving are her husband, Morris Frank Ayscue; a daughter, Angel A. Chavis and husband Billy of Henderson; a son, Eric Ayscue and wife Marie of Oxford; two sisters, Wanda Reynolds and husband David of Durham and Holly Trammell of Henderson; and five grandchildren, Jasmine Ayscue, Eliana Chavis, Trinity Ayscue, Shauna Ayscue and Destiny Gupton. She was preceded in death by her brother, John William “Johnny” Schuster Jr.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 25, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Flowers Funeral Home. All other times they will be at the home, 30 Millstone Drive, Franklinton.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Mike Ayscue, Jeff Jones, Tim Strange, Russell Haithcock, Bruce Stewart, Kevin Satterwhite, Ronnie Allen and Walter Lawton.
Arrangements are by Flowers Funeral Home.

HENDERSON — Ruth Ann Davis, 87, of 380 Carver School Road, died Monday, April 21, 2014.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, in the chapel of Davis-Royster Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Brookston Baptist Church.
Viewing will be Friday, April 25, from noon to 6 p.m. in the chapel of Davis-Royster Funeral Service.
The family will receive friends at the residence.

ROXBORO — James T. Pettiford Jr., 50, of 711 Leasburg Road, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham.
A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, in the chapel of Betts & Son Funeral Home by the Rev. Emmitt Ragland III.
Viewing will Friday, April 25, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Betts & Son Funeral Home.
