William H. Fogg
PETERSBURG, Va. — Mr. William Henry Fogg, “Bud” as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013.
He was born Sept. 11, 1936, in Louisburg, to the late William Thomas Fogg and Jennie Fogg.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Mary D. Fogg; a dedicated and loving son, William A. “Tony” Fogg and daughter-in-law, Maribel G. Fogg; a stepson, Nate P. Lambert all of North Chesterfield, Va.; four sisters, Jennie F. Debose of Petersburg, Va., Mamie Ragland, Mary W. Diggs and Dorothy M. Williams of Henderson; one brother, Eddie Williams Sr. of Henderson; four sisters-in-law, Katie Fogg and Bobbie Williams of Henderson, Rena Herring of Dolton, Ill., and Shelby Herring of Virginia Beach, Va.; four brothers-in-law, Edward Herring of Dolton, Ill., John Herring of Virginia Beach, Va., Emmett Wilson of Louisburg and the Rev. Homer L. Diggs of Henderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service was held at noon on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at Third Baptist Church in Petersburg, Va. Interment was held at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery, Petersburg, Va.

Carnell J. Durham
HENDERSON — Carnell Junious Durham, 53, of 911 Bridgers Street, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at Progressive Faith Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Stacy Parham Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is receiving friends at the residence.

Elmore D. Gooch
OXFORD — Elmore Dabney Gooch Jr., 79, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church by Rev. Keith Williams. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
