OXFORD — At their meeting Tuesday night, the Oxford city commissioners will consider adopting a fee schedule for property owners who want city water service along a new water line extending along U.S. 15 South.
In a related proposal, the board will consider a recommendation by the city staff and Public Works Committee to amend the budget in the amount of $111,631 to upsize the waterline.
Public hearings will be held to allow residents to comment on a proposal to zone the site of Oxford Preparatory High School to make the property’s classification compatible with the city’s zoning ordinance and on proposals to amend the zoning ordinance as it relates to parking, landscaping and permitted uses.
The board is also expected to handle agenda items for a veterans memorial, records retention, the city’s 200th anniversary and tax releases.
