Henderson resident faces federal charges

A 28-year-old Henderson resident is facing federal charges after violating his supervised release.

Xavier Ramone Judd, of 111 S. Clark St., Henderson, was charged with one count of violating supervised release from a prior federal conviction for conspiracy to distribute narcotics.

Judd was jailed in Vance County without bond pending transfer of custody to the United States Marshals Service and pending a hearing in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

Members of the Henderson Police Department Special Operations Unit participated in the arrest.
