Welcome to the new Daily Dispatch website
The Dispatch is pleased to present a redesigned website. We ask for patience and forgiveness as we launch the site, get used to the tools we have, and find a rhythm for our dedicated audience.
We believe the site is going to be a clean presentation, and we will continue to deliver local news, sports, calendar items, photographs and commentary on the Tri-County area.
The homepage has more space on the main page. The navigation bar will allow for quick access to items inside the site. The right rail will continue to have a quick link to our electronic edition, Twitter feed, economic gas prices through gasbuddy.com and valuable advertising space.
When scrolling the homepage, the “view all” button in each section will send the reader to more stories for that section, including those of recent days.
While the site may at first appear to only show the most recent days, our archives section will eventually transfer as well. Our e-edition, a complete pdf of the newspaper, is available without charge for a limited time and there is no need to register for access.
E-edition customers will have their bills credited until the paywall returns.
As we move through the coming weeks, your feedback is valuable in what we do. Send comments or questions to email@example.com and I’ll try to help you.
Thanks for reading The Dispatch.
