No action following closed session of Warren commissioners
WARRENTON — The Warren County Board of Commissioners spent approximately an hour in closed session at a special called meeting on Friday.
The commissioners took no action and did not offer any indication as to the subject of the meeting.
After Chairwoman Bertadean Baker called the meeting to order and requested a moment of silence, Deputy Clerk Paula Pulley read the notice of the special meeting and the conflict of statement disclaimer.
The commissioners adopted an agenda for the meeting and immediately went into closed session to discuss attorney-client privileged information in accordance with N.C. General Statute 143-318.11(a)(3).
When the commissioners emerged from the closed session at 11:05 a.m., Baker called the meeting back into open session.
Commissioner Barry Richardson moved to adjourn. The motion was passed unanimously.
