HENDERSON POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arrests

• Maurice Jones, 31, of 1206 Park Ave., Henderson, was arrested June 30 on a charge of communicating threats. He was released on bond pending a court hearing Aug. 26.

 

Incidents

• Shoplifting was reported June 30 at Mast Drug, 501 S. Chestnut St., Henderson.

• Larceny was reported June 30 at the Save A Lot, 967 S. Beckford Drive, Henderson.

• Shoplifting and larceny were reported June 30 at the Food Lion, 1650 N. Garnett St., Henderson.

• Communicated threats ware reported June 30 on the 500 block of South College Street, Henderson.

• Domestic assault was reported June 30 on the 100 block of Southerland Avenue, Henderson.

 

VANCE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Arrests

• Timotheus Petersi, 21, of 4297 Warrenton Road, Henderson, was arrested June 30 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $600 bond pending a court hearing Aug. 4.

• Warren Hilliard, 34, of 951 Harriet St., Henderson, was arrested June 30 on charges of assaulting a female and communicating threats. He was jailed without bond pending a court hearing July 22.

• Joe L. Jones, 38, of 1141 Booker St., Henderson, was arrested June 30 on a charge of assaulting a female. He was jailed on $500 bond pending a court hearing Sept. 11.

• Vandalism was reported June 30 on the 3800 block of Raleigh Road, Henderson.

• Larceny was reported June 30 on the 200 block of Buckskin Lane, Henderson.

• Property damage was reported June 30 on the 100 block of Pueblo Lane, Henderson.

• Domestic dispute was reported June 30 on the 3600 block of N.C. 39 South, Henderson.

• Breaking and entering and larceny were reported June 30 on the 3100 block of Thomas Road, Henderson.

• Harassment was reported June 30 on the 100 block of South Chavis Road, Henderson.

• Harassment was reported June 30 on the 5300 block of U.S. 158 Business, Henderson.

• Larceny was reported June 30 on the 100 block of North Cokesbury Road, Henderson.

• Fraud was reported June 30 at unknown location.

• A suspicious person was reported June 30 on the 700 block of J.P. Taylor Road, Henderson.
