Arrests
• Dwight G. Daye, 35, of 2450 Burnside, Oxford, was arrested Jan. 3 on charges of armed assault causing serious injury in September and of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $7,500 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 19.
• Cory Cheek Jr., 17, of 315 Davis St., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 3 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $500 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 14.
• Kwame Thornton, 21, of 463 Powell St., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 3 on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was released on $1,000 bond pending a court hearing Jan.22.
• Mark A. Vanatta, 22, of 1515 Sunset Ave., was arrested Jan. 3 on charges of vandalizing two vehicles, causing $5,000 damage. He was jailed on $900 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 19.
• Keith M. Richardson, 32, of 242 Pearl St., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 3 on a charge of failing to appear in court. He was jailed on $500 bond pending a court hearing Jan. 16.
• Tiffany A. Talley, 23, of 200 Hunter Lane, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 3 on charges of disorderly conduct and speaking profanity. She was released on $600 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 19.
• Tirvio Judkins, 44, of 218 Crozier St., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 3 on a charge of assaulting a female. He was cited and released pending a court hearing Jan. 14.
Larcenies, incidents
• Larceny of a $500 emergency vehicle light-rack from a N.C. Forestry Service green 2006 Ford F-350 was reported Wednesday in the 300 block of West Young Avenue, Henderson.
• Larceny and return of $1,100 in scrap metal was reported Dec. 31 at a 100 block Main Street, Henderson, construction site.
• Larceny of $1,225 worth of appliances and metals was reported Thursday at a 700 block Champion Street, Henderson, home.
• Larceny of a $500 laptop computer was reported Thursday at a 200 block Carolyn Court, Henderson, home.

Arrests
• Isaiah Thomas, 17, of 720 Daniel St., Henderson, was arrested Jan. 3 on a charge of fighting at Southern Vance High School. He was released on $500 bond pending a court hearing Jan. 31.
• Malik J. Williams, 17, of 117 Carmel Ridge Road, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 3 on a charge of fighting at Southern Vance High School. He was released on $500 bond pending a court hearing Jan. 31.
• Donnie A. Haines, 33, of 515 Finch Road, Henderson, was arrested Jan. 3 on a charge of larceny. He was jailed on $5,000 bond pending a court hearing Feb. 18.

• Larceny of $10,140.24 worth of No. 4 copper wire, 3,961 feet belonging to Progress Energy, was reported Thursday at areas of Vicksboro and Ennis Murphy roads, Henderson.
• Larceny of $7,120.32 worth of No. 4 copper wire, 2,820 feet belonging to Progress Energy, was reported Thursday at an area along the 1700 block of N.C. 39 North, Henderson.
• Larceny of a $4,500 heat pump and furnace system was reported Thursday at a 436 Tower Lane, Henderson, trailer home.
• Larceny of $5,600 in TVs, electronic game equipment and a laptop computer was reported Thursday at a 100 block Ramblewood Lane, Henderson, home.
• Larceny of two black leather coats, $900 value total, was reported Thursday at a 2841 Stagecoach Road, Henderson, home.
• Larceny of a $330 handgun with laser sight from a truck was reported Thursday at a Cross Creek Road, Henderson, area.
