Two facing felony drug charges
Delvon Connell Perry and Oscar Williams have been arrested by Henderson police on charges of felony drug possession.
The 27-year-old Perry of 1256 Walter Street was jailed with bond set at $10,000. He faces charges of possession of cocaine and possession of counterfeit controlled substances for sale.
The 29-year-old Williams of 517 Oak Street was jailed with bond set at $5,000. He faces a charge of maintaining a dwelling for drug trafficking.
Both have a Vance County District Court hearing scheduled for Nov. 25.
According to a statement from Lt. Alan Hedgepeth, members of the Special Operations Division investigated based on complaints to them about the sale of drugs in the area.
During their search, investigators found a quantity of suspected cocaine and items “associated with the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics,” according to Hedgepeth.
