Rewards offered for information on crimes

Information is being sought and rewards offered by the Henderson-Vance Crime Stoppers Association.

The monthly listing of crimes unsolved includes four incidents of breaking and entering, and larceny.

The sheriff’s office and police department are asking for anyone with information to contact them, or Crime Stoppers at (252) 492-1925. Information can also be given online at hvcrimestoppers.com. Henderson police can be called at (252) 431-6063 and Vance sheriff’s deputies can be called at (252) 738-2200.

Crime Stoppers pays rewards of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.

• Police are seeking information for a break-in on Dec. 1 at 319 Zollicoffer Avenue. The incident happened at 4:39 a.m. Several items were taken from the residence, with entry made through a broken rear door window.

• On Dec. 2, just after midnight, police went to 273 Ridge Road where a front bedroom window had been broken. Several items were taken.

• Sheriff’s deputies are seeking information from an Oct. 13 incident at Cruizers convenience store on U.S. 1 in Middleburg. An alarm was sounded at 3:47 a.m. Glass was broken and large number of cigarettes and other items were taken.

• On Nov. 30, deputies went to Antioch United Church of Christ in Townsville at about 7 p.m. A commercial grade air conditioning unit was taken.
